As a specialized manufacturing facility dedicated to visual merchandising props production and retail space art installation manufacturing, we spearheaded the technical engineering and spatial construction of the core giant butterfly installation for this luxury window display project. To achieve the complex hollow woven structure—a design that seamlessly blends Oriental aesthetics with modern geometric precision—we utilized a multi-layered composite craftsmanship process. By utilizing CNC laser cutting, we precisely forged the base metal mesh, followed by embedding high-transmittance acrylic and hand-assembling bionic wood strips. This approach perfectly replicated the airy, “ready-to-fly” lightness envisioned in the original design, delivering the ultimate precision required for high-end commercial space art sculpture manufacturing and ensuring every texture withstands the closest scrutiny.
In terms of lighting and structural safety, we successfully overcame the technical challenge of achieving “invisible illumination” for this suspended installation. Leveraging advanced lighting simulation technology, we integrated low-heat, high-CRI LED strips and optical diffusion films directly into the butterfly’s skeleton, creating a seamless, immersive glow without visible light beads. Concurrently, relying on our internally developed lightweight aviation aluminum framework and a full-scale pre-assembly process, we resolved the seismic and stress fatigue challenges typical of giant suspended structures. This achieved a perfect balance between visual levitation and structural stability above the shopping mall’s walkways, fully demonstrating our professional expertise in retail space showcase design customization and commercial window display props fabrication.
