As a premier custom commercial prop manufacturer, we took on the comprehensive Plaza 66 Christmas visual merchandising project. Our scope included the R&D and fabrication of custom holiday lighting displays, the mass production of large-scale Christmas props, and the full on-site installation of the mall’s festive decor. The installation featured a giant street-facing neon ring Christmas tree, a hand-painted woodland-themed photo op, and an illuminated arched walkway, all strategically placed across high-traffic outdoor plaza locations. The towering neon tree presented significant structural safety challenges due to its wide span and street-side placement, making it vulnerable to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. To address this, we engineered the load-bearing structure using thickened galvanized steel square-tube trusses and reinforced the base with widened counterweights. Following rigorous load-bearing calculations to ensure structural redundancy, the components were modularly hoisted and assembled. This design effectively withstands high winds and external impacts, fully complying with safety standards for long-term outdoor commercial displays.
The project was executed with strict standardized color control, seamless edge finishing, and systematic lighting installation. We developed a custom color palette featuring dark green, vibrant neon, and natural wood brown. The cut seams of the sculpted panels were meticulously sanded and treated with invisible edge banding, while the LED strip tracks were precision-mounted to prevent peeling. The neon Christmas tree was equipped with segmented RGB addressable LED strips, and point light beads were seamlessly embedded inside the panels of the forest installation. Utilizing entirely low-voltage concealed wiring, we successfully delivered a complete commercial holiday lighting solution that provides stunning day-and-night visual impacts, perfectly aligning with the premium positioning of a luxury retail district.
