As a premier custom manufacturer of commercial retail displays and props, we successfully executed a comprehensive, interactive custom Christmas art installation project for a major shopping mall. We managed the entire process from start to finish—including the fabrication of bespoke holiday art pieces, the production of large-scale Christmas installations, and complete on-site assembly. The project featured a giant cartoon-style outdoor Christmas tree, custom fiberglass IP sculptures (raccoons and squirrels), a gift-box miniature train, floral escalator light signs, and festive window decals, all strategically placed across the main entrance, atrium escalators, and multiple indoor traffic flows. Given the massive scale of the outdoor Christmas tree and its exposure to strong winds and high foot traffic, we engineered a heavy-duty load-bearing framework using thickened galvanized square steel tubes. We also incorporated a widened, weighted base to maximize anti-rollover stability. The components were modularly transported and assembled on-site, passing strict structural load safety calculations to ensure a secure, long-term outdoor display.
To guarantee a premium visual experience, the project adhered to strict standardized color-matching controls, seamless edge-finishing, and integrated lighting construction. The seams of the fiberglass sculptures underwent multiple rounds of sanding and repainting for a flawless aesthetic, while the panel joints of the Christmas tree were treated with invisible edge-banding using matching materials. Safety and aesthetics were equally prioritized through concealed, low-voltage wiring for the ring lights at the tree’s base and the ambient string lights surrounding the IP sculptures. Additionally, the illuminated signs utilized a sophisticated backlit channel letter process. By seamlessly integrating the lighting system throughout the entire commercial decoration production process, we successfully created an immersive, magical winter wonderland.
To ensure strictly on-time delivery for the crucial holiday shopping season, all custom Christmas art displays and large-scale installations underwent a 1:1 pre-assembly at our manufacturing facility. We conducted rigorous 72-hour continuous lighting tests to proactively correct any structural misalignments or uneven brightness.
