As the manufacturing partner responsible for this pop-up event, we faced a primary technical challenge: achieving perfect consistency for the brand’s signature red hue under varying lighting conditions. By creating over 20 color swatches and conducting “all-weather simulation comparisons,” we ultimately utilized automotive-grade spray painting combined with a proprietary matte formulation. This approach effectively eliminated “orange peel” textures and the typical synthetic plastic aesthetic, ensuring a premium look under both harsh daylight and low-light conditions. Regarding structural integrity, for the massive immersive installation—including giant Mahjong tiles requiring high wind resistance—we integrated hidden internal frameworks and weighted ballast modules. Through pre-assembly in our workshop and seamless soft-adhesive sealing, we ensured the pop-up structure remained rock-solid in outdoor environments, regardless of weather.
The project’s focal points—the luminous “Fa” (發) character and the COACH logo—demanded exceptional lighting uniformity. We utilized high-transparency acrylic light guide plates paired with custom side-lit LED modules. Each module underwent rigorous ±50K color temperature screening, eliminating the graininess and light leakage common in traditional illuminated signage. During on-site installation, cognizant of the strict noise and schedule restrictions in prime retail districts, we implemented full modular transport and executed a high-speed 2.5-hour overnight crane lift. We also provided a dedicated maintenance team to ensure the pristine condition of every acrylic facade and painted surface throughout the activation, offering a true one-stop solution for high-end event prop fabrication and execution.
