We undertook the MINISO LAND immersive Christmas display project, providing a one-stop solution for fabricating immersive Christmas scene components, building viral Christmas installations, and handling the on-site assembly of all interactive holiday displays (with the client independently providing the creative design). Deployed on an outdoor pedestrian street, the project featured large-span inflatable arches, plush IP sculptures, interactive photo-op cabins, and a giant Christmas tree. Given the tropical monsoon climate, the arches were vulnerable to wind deformation, and the sculptures required high structural safety to withstand frequent leaning and touching from tourists. To address these challenges, we utilized thickened, airtight PVC fabric with double-layer heat-sealed edges and constant-pressure blowers for the inflatables. For the rigid sculptures, we integrated load-bearing galvanized square tube skeletons, added widened counterweight bases, and completed strict wind-resistance calculations. This modular disassembly and assembly approach effectively eliminated outdoor safety hazards like air leaks and structural overturning.
During the production phase of these viral Christmas installations, we strictly enforced brand-specific color management, precision edge-finishing, and integrated lighting construction. Rigorously adhering to MINISO’s standard red, green, and white brand colors, we ensured that fiberglass (FRP), wood panels, and inflatable fabrics were uniformly colored in the same batch. The Christmas tree and photo-op cabins featured built-in, low-voltage hidden LED strip lights with internally routed wiring, guaranteeing electrical safety while perfectly illuminating the immersive, Instagrammable Christmas atmosphere day and night.
This co-branded Christmas scene achieved a remarkable 99.4% design-to-reality accuracy rate. During the event’s operation, the average daily foot traffic in the activation area increased by 49.1% month-over-month. The campaign went viral across social media, generating over 23.12 million impressions on related Instagram topics, alongside 17,000+ user-generated photo posts. Total TikTok video views hit 12.89 million, while Facebook saw 1.56 million topic interactions and 243,000 shares.
