As a dedicated fabrication factory specializing in custom shopping mall art installations and immersive installations, we were responsible for the complete manufacturing and on-site construction of this large-scale, viral retail experiential design project. The greatest challenge was multifaceted: ensuring the structural safety of the complex, custom-shaped “Floral Divine Tree,” completing the full pre-assembly and intricate lighting calibration under a strict deadline, and preventing the highly translucent materials from exhibiting a cheap “plastic feel” or harsh glare.
To overcome these technical hurdles, we utilized high-transmittance PMMA panels, combining double-sided UV printing with hand-painted airbrushing. By leveraging a 256-color Pantone gradient system, we successfully replicated a premium ink-wash texture. The challenge of lighting uniformity was resolved by integrating custom high-density flexible LED filaments with layered light-guiding technology. Emphasizing our rigorous custom fabrication standards, we insisted on a full in-house pre-assembly, conducting stress tests under simulated extreme conditions. Through strategic modular engineering, we successfully compressed the on-site installation timeline to just 18 days. Furthermore, the final structure incorporated concealed drainage channels, IP65-rated waterproof power supply boxes, and dedicated access panels for future maintenance.
