As a premier custom art prop fabrication factory, we undertook the production and on-site installation for the MixC Mall “Great Time Knot” theme exhibition. While the client independently provided the conceptual scene design, our team brought the vision to life by manufacturing the large-scale sculptural installations, including the giant twisted bow sculpture and pop-up retail booths. The project presented significant technical challenges: the ultra-long twisting cantilevered sculpture was highly prone to deformation, the gradient red-to-pink spray painting required strict color control, and assembling the split curved surfaces seamlessly was complex. We successfully overcame these hurdles by integrating a thickened internal steel skeleton with rigorous wind-resistance calculations and adding counterweight bases. Furthermore, we employed multi-layered masking techniques to ensure precise color matching and utilized modular splicing for a reinforced, seamless finish.
For this commercial art installation, we utilized a high-quality, thickened fiberglass (FRP) molding process. We meticulously polished every seam and maintained strict color consistency, keeping the color difference strictly controlled at ΔE ≤ 1.2. The accompanying pop-up retail kiosks were pre-wired with strategic lighting points, making them fully adaptable for all-weather photo opportunities and interactive display needs. To guarantee a flawless rollout, all custom props underwent a complete pre-assembly inspection before leaving our facility. During the on-site phase, multiple crews executed synchronized hoisting and construction, ensuring on-time delivery for the scheduled exhibition without disrupting the mall’s normal daily operations.
The completed themed installation achieved an exceptional 99.5% design reproduction rate, driving a 52.3% increase in average daily foot traffic to the designated photo spots. Upon launch, the project ignited massive social media engagement, surpassing 48.96 million total online impressions. Related TikTok check-in videos garnered over 35.8 million views, the top-performing Instagram post received 4.8 million likes, and Facebook local lifestyle groups generated 62,000 shares. Ultimately, this high-impact visual merchandising project successfully increased overall in-store foot traffic by 40%.
