As a premier manufacturer of mall atrium installations and a direct custom fabricator for commercial visual merchandising, our team led the full-scale production and on-site build of the core visual nodes across all floors at Nanjing JD Mall. Tasked with the client’s highly impactful, independent design blueprints, we embraced the challenge of perfectly translating visionary concepts into a 3D physical reality. From massive, multi-level atrium art installations to precision-engineered kinetic art displays and complex, curved custom acrylic structures, we leveraged our robust direct-manufacturing capabilities to successfully overcome numerous extraordinary execution challenges.
During the project’s execution, we systematically conquered key technical hurdles. First, to guarantee the structural safety of the suspended sculpture installations, we engineered a suspension system using aerospace-grade aluminum alloy and an invisible steel cable matrix, ensuring absolute stability for the large-scale kinetic art pieces while in motion. Second, leveraging our advanced facility as an expert custom acrylic fabrication company, we utilized oversized constant-temperature thermoforming and seamless splicing techniques to flawlessly reproduce the translucent, premium finish of the large flowing acrylic lines.
Furthermore, we custom-engineered lighting modules to achieve a zero-color-difference match between the metallic illuminated nodes and exclusive brand colors like “JD Red.” By implementing a “1:1 full-scale pre-assembly” in our own factory, paired with an on-site micro-hoisting array, we achieved a zero-error installation despite an incredibly tight deadline.
