
In the project, we served as the integrated manufacturing factory responsible for custom IP sculpture production, fog-effect dynamic system R&D, and full public art installation fabrication & on-site assembly.
We successfully resolved four major challenges:
1. IP Sculpture Customization
The sculpture needed to faithfully reproduce the cartoon’s smooth curved surfaces and precise gradient colors while withstanding intense sunlight and high humidity in semi-open public spaces. Traditional methods often resulted in surface cracking, fading, and poor character fidelity.
2. Embedded Fog-Effect Dynamic System
The misting system had to be fully concealed inside the sculpture to preserve the IP’s visual integrity while delivering engaging interactive fog effects. Long-term operation also posed risks of nozzle clogging and moisture damage to electronics.
3. Public Safety & Maintainability
As a high-traffic public art installation, it had to meet stringent wind and seismic resistance standards while ensuring easy access for maintenance of internal equipment.
4. Seamless On-Site Assembly
Modular splicing of non-standard components often left visible construction joints, and coordinating multiple trades on-site made schedule control extremely difficult.
Our Proven Production Solution:
1. IP Sculpture
We used food-grade fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) with a hot-dip galvanized steel skeleton. The process combined five-axis precision carving of the master mold, triple color-card verification, and a three-layer fluorocarbon paint system. This achieved over 96% IP likeness and 3+ years of weather resistance in harsh tropical environments.
2.Fog-Effect Dynamic System
An embedded high-pressure micro-mist system was developed with micron-level nozzles and triple-stage water filtration. Water and electrical systems are housed in independent waterproof compartments, enabling stable synchronized fog and lighting effects with minimal maintenance.
3.Structural Safety
Finite element analysis ensured a 1.8× safety factor. The base features pre-embedded steel plates with chemical anchor bolts for double-reinforced fixation, fully meeting public space safety requirements for wind and seismic loads.
4.Seamless Details & Fast Installation
High-precision positioning and integrated edge-closing techniques make all joints and equipment access points virtually invisible. Factory pre-assembly and modular hoisting dramatically shortened on-site installation time and minimized coordination risks.
